FYI I have been trying (with mixed success !) to do my own live streaming  broadcasts of Nightingales from N Norfolk. Last night there were two maybe three birds singing, with a couple more a mile or so away but there are few spots with a good phone signal (I’m doing it via a mobile + ext mic).  Have featured some singing nightingale + quite a lot of heavy breathing from inquisitive Highland Cattle, in between signal and software glitches.

I’m hoping to try again most evenings.  At the moment the most cooperative and best sited bird sings from about 2040 to 2110 but I hope that may extend as it gets more enthusiastic.
